Curtis Schultz

Curt Schultz began his career as an agent with New York Life in 1964, qualifying for company achievements from the beginning.  He decided to go into management in 1968, but after 3 months he realized being out in the field was where he wanted to be, and once he returned he proceeded to qualify for President’s Council.  Curt then became a charter member of the Chairman’s Council and consistently qualified. He lead the entire field force and became Council President in 1991.  This honor can only happen once in a person’s New York Life career. Curt is a Top of the Table charter member of MDRT* and a current member of the Advisory Board of Directors for New York Life.

Curt and his wife, Julie, reside in Valparaiso, Indiana, and spend their summers at their home on Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana.  Curt and Julie have twin boys, Grant and Kyle, who are attending the University of Indiana – Bloomington.  Grant and Kyle have both shown a strong interest in becoming NYL agents when they graduate.  Curt also has a son, Doug, who is a Partner with New York Life and is now Curt’s boss in the Greater Chicago G.O. Sales Office.  Curt’s daughter, Lori, is a nurse and resides in the northern suburbs of Chicago.  Curt is the proud grandpa to five grandchildren.

Jennifer A Marr

Jennifer started her career in 1998 working for agent, Curt Schultz. Licensed in the state of Illinois since 2002, and holding a non-resident license in the state of Indiana, Jennifer specializes in assisting Curt’s large client base with tax and non-tax deferred retirement plans, provides customer service support on all New York Life clients, works closely with The Nautilus Group in preparation of client planning and considerations, Group Health Insurance needs, Medicare Supplements and Individual Health Insurance. Jennifer has recently completed training and now acts as Curt’s Licensed Service Assistant for New York Life. Jennifer is also a Notary Public, is certified in Medicare Part D and is always completing continuing educations classes and seminars to improve her skills.

Jennifer lives in Matteson, IL with her husband, Lee Marr Sr., and their son Devin who is 12. Jennifer also has four step children, sons Joshua Marr, 22, Twins, Lee Marr, Jr. and Angelo Marr, 21 and daughter Anastasia Marr, 16. In her spare time she enjoys vacationing with her family and volunteering with Devin’s football and basketball teams.

 

Bernadette (Bernie) Wiscons

After graduating from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend with a Bachelor of Business Administration and concentration in accounting, Bernie started working for New York Life agent Curt Schultz.  Bernie has over thirty years of providing customer service on Curt’s extensive book of business, including providing periodic policy reviews, and facilitates transactions to be completed at the New York Life service centers and home office.

Married to Michael Hoffman, a dentist, for more than 25 years, Bernie volunteers at Infant Jesus of Prague parish at which each year she mentors a group of 7th graders in growing their faith.  Both Bernie and Mike are actively involved in various other ministries at church and also enjoy hiking, gardening, and dog training.

 

Gina C. McClory

As 3rd generation in the insurance industry, Gina grew up running through the halls of her family’s property and casualty insurance agency.  She, officially, began her career in 1999 working as a recruiting assistant for her father, the Senior Partner of the Greater Chicago General Office for New York Life.  Gina graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003 from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL with a BA degree in Political Science, where she was also a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma, the National Scholastic Honor Society.  Upon graduation in 2003, Gina went to work for New York Life in the Greater Chicago General Office focusing on contracting and licensing.  Gina came to work for Curt in 2005 and has spent her time since working on marketing to new clients, prospecting and setting appointments, servicing of existing clients, implementing new procedures and helping Curt with his day to day needs.

Married to her best friend and hysterically funny husband, Patrick, Gina spends her free time advocating for homeless dogs in need of rescue.  She also serves on the Board of Directors and Marketing Committee for the Martin G. Alberico Scholarship Foundation.  Every year, she chairs the Foundation’s main event for over 100 people.  In their spare time, Gina and Patrick enjoy traveling, laughing and spending time with their three rescue dogs.
